This camp is not a place. It is a decision.
The Idea
Black Rock City has a thousand places to spend energy — and very few to rebuild it. We fill that gap: a real gym under real shade, guided breathwork, recovery, and one honest conversation a day. Everything is free, everything is open, everyone is welcome. That is our gift to the city.
By day the camp is bright, functional, alive: steel, wood, canvas, people training. By night the same space transforms — amber light, fire, quiet music, stories. Two worlds, one place.
The gym is the magnet. The perspective shift is the gift. If you leave seeing one thing differently — an excuse, a fear, a possibility — the camp has done its job.
The Experience
The camp works without us — shade, gym, lounge, water, music. Once a day, at 17:00, we run one thing properly.
Racks, barbells, bumper plates, kettlebells, rings. Few pieces, all excellent. Open all day, with coached windows — the gym you never expected to find on playa.
Box breathing, physiological sighs, CO₂ tolerance. Twenty minutes that change your nervous system — scientific, simple, no incense required.
Mobility, fascia work, massage guns, shade and hammocks. Recovery is training — and on the playa it's a superpower of its own.
The one curated event each day: movement together, breath together, one true story, one open question. Sixty minutes. Come as you are.
No stage, no microphone. A circle at fire-light where people tell the stories they don't tell at home — failure, fear, love, change.
Three questions: What do you let go of? What do you take with you? Which perspective will you change? Write it, hang it, or burn it.
On one night of the week, the plaza turns the lights low and the music up — hosted together with a Swiss sex-positive collective. Consent-first, body-positive, 18+, and exactly as open-minded as Black Rock City taught us to be. Curious? Come by and ask.

Designed and built by our own crew — including a professional scaffolding company — for playa storms, fast assembly and ten years of service.

Buy and store infrastructure in Nevada. One build weekend in Switzerland, one pre-build in the desert. The camp is born before the event.

The Crew
This camp is assembled by hand — by scaffolders, physios, electricians, cooks, artists and people who simply show up. We are looking for founding members who want to build something that outlasts one burn.
Honesty first: this is not a package holiday. Founding members contribute real work, an annual camp contribution, their own ticket and travel — and a build week in the desert. In return you co-own something rare: a camp, a crew, and a reason to come back for a decade.
